About Us | Abbotsford Presbyterian Church

Our Church family is a diverse group of people from many walks of life, sharing our lives together and striving to know and love Jesus better.

Away in the end of the 19th Century, was the beginning of the Abbotsford Presbyterian Church. From Sunday services held in the library of the residence of a Presbyterian Minister, God has blessed us with not only the church buildings but many of His faithful people worshipping in Abbotsford. We have now joined with a young church family from Central Sydney Presbyterian Church.

Central Sydney Presbyterian Church was established in February 1999. For close to 11 years, we met in the hall at Darlington Public School. In late 2009, following Darlington school’s decision to begin refurbishing their hall, we gratefully accepted Abbotsford Presbyterian Church’s offer of a new church home, trading in children’s artworks for stained-glass windows, and entering into an exciting new chapter in the life of our Church.

Our Vision

Our vision, as a church, is to be a growing community of Christ-centred people who love God, love one another, love inner-urban Sydney and equip one another for ministry in our daily lives.
