Thanks Dave. Inspiring, uplifting, enlivening and encouraging to soldier on in His service, the service of our great Lord and King, Jesus the Christ.
I particularly liked being reminded that we are a "community" of God's, His by covenant in eternity past, a purchased possession belonging not only to God but to each other. Thank you, Bill and Christine. Qld

G'day from WA!

How do you do, my Presbyterian brethren? My name is Lachlan Stewart, and I am a 26 year old man from Perth, WA. I am currently looking for a new church family to join in and around the Drummoyne area, as I am enrolled to study at Wesley Institute as of February next year.

Your statement of values is very interesting, and mirrors many things I hold to essential to living for and with Jesus. Would you please tell me what outreaches you are currently running, and what areas I would be able to volunteer to serve in?

On a more self seeking note, I am also looking for accommodation and employment and transport. I will be arriving in Sydney sometime toward the end of January, and beginning my course mid-way through February.

At present I would like to work in a coffee shop or cafe, but have little experience in the industry. I would be willing to enter into a probation period, to learn more of what would be required of me, at a lower rate. I currently run my own bricklaying team, and understand some of the frustration of paying employees who are still learning. I also recognise the value of on the job training, and hard working, enthusiastic employees.

In regards to accommodation, ideally I should like to share a house with 1 or more men. However, I would be just as happy being welcomed into a family home with a spare room.

Specifically, I am asking Jesus for a Suzuki Vitara or Jimni four-wheel drive. So, if He wants, He'll get me one =)

Thanks so much for your time!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Dear Suzanne,

Thanks for visiting us on Sunday, and sorry for not being able to reply to you sooner.

As you would already know we do have kids church/program during the sermon. Usually we start the service with everyone at 9:30 and after the kids talk, kids will be going to the kids church at about 9:50.

if you have any other questions or comments, feel free to drop Dave a line at davethurston@optusnet.com.au

Hope you enjoyed your time with us.

Regards,

Junji

Dear Dave

I was interested to know whether you have a kids program at your church during the 9h30 Sermon on a Sunday.

We have a 6 year old, will he be able to attend "kids church" whilst we attend the sermon. Also, are there any other kids his age or older?

Kind regards
Suzanne
